Mushroom Burnt Butter Pasta

Speedy mushroom burnt butter pasta for busy weeknights.

Mushroom Burnt Butter Pasta

Serves 4

Ingredients

400g spaghetti
120g unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
250g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
Salt
Pepper
2 tbsp lemon juice

Method

Cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain and keep warm. 
Heat a large frying pan over high heat. Add the butter and garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. 
Add the mushrooms, salt and pepper and cook for a further 3 minutes. Add the lemon juice and gently toss to coat. 
Divide the pasta between bowls and top with the mushrooms and burnt butter sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
